Welcome

We are small hobby breeders of Bengals. We produce high-quality brown and silver, marbled and spotted kittens. Tribalgem is a registered prefix with TICA and GCCF. We are members of TICA and The Bengal Cat Club.
We are situated in Gloucester, Gloucestershire - just 5 minutes from J11a of the M5
We use quality pedigree lines to produce beautiful, strong, healthy, well-socialized kittens with loving personalities and temperament. Our goal is to achieve excellent type, clear coats and patterns that conform to the Bengal Standard of Points. We strive to enhance and progress the Bengal Breed.
Bengals are a unique breed. First bred from crossing an Asian Leopard Cat with a domestic cat, they have the appearance of a "wildcat" with the nature of a domestic cat. Introduced to the UK in the 1990's they are large, sleek and muscular cats, usually slightly bigger than your average domestic cat. They have distinctive patterns which are spotted or marbled in various shades of brown, silver and snow. They have a luxurious soft coat that feels like silk. They are the only breed that has a coat with a gold or pearl dusting effect like glitter which shimmers in the light. This site is not intended to give detailed information about the Bengal Breed. Our Bengals are part of the family. Our Queens and kittens live in the house along with our two "Moggies" Alfiie and Grommit. They all get lots of fuss and attention. The Queens have regular access to the outdoors to ensure they get plenty of fresh air and exercise.
A few days before they are due to give birth they move to our bedroom where in peace and quiet they "nest" in their birthing pen. Once born in our bedroom, we keep a close eye on the kittens for the first few weeks. As they start to walk they are transferred to a larger kitten pen where they have more room to explore whilst still remaining close to Mum. When old enough they move to our dedicated kitten room which provides a safe and entertaining area in which to grow up.
The Queens stay in the kitten room until the kittens are weaned and litter-trained. After their first vaccinations the kittens can start to explore the rest of the house. They then spend time in the house with the other cats to allow time for socialization. The Queens only leave their kittens when they are comfortable leaving them.
Our stud lives in his own luxurious insulated 6ft x 4ft house complete with 6ft x 12ft outdoor run. We have another outdoor house which is used by our Queens from time to time or as an extension for Lukka if unoccupied. We also have enclosed our garden so all our Bengals can enjoy some exercise and fresh air in complete safety. Our stud also has access to the garden when there are no girls outside.
All kittens will be registered with TICA or GCCF and will be fully socialized, vaccinated, health checked, litter trained, wormed and flea treated. Kittens are ready to leave no earlier than 13 weeks (or a minimum of 7 days following 2nd vaccination)
Please contact us if you would like to discuss a Tribalgem kitten as a very special pet, show cat or breeder. Feel free to ask any questions you might have about the beautiful Bengal cat.
We hope you enjoy looking at our website and look forward to hearing from you soon. Louise xx
